Office for Sale in Al Maqsad - New Capital By City Edge Developments - Delivery Year 2023
Al Maqsad New Capital Egypt is a new city planned to be built in Egypt, located between Cairo and the Suez Canal. The city is planned to be the new administrative and financial hub of the country, and is expected to become a major economic center in the region.
The project was announced in 2017 by Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, and is expected to be completed by 2022. The new capital will be built on an area of 700 square kilometers and will include residential, business, industrial, and educational areas.
The city will be divided into five main districts:
1. The Central Business District, which will include a financial center, a technology park, and an international airport.
2. The Residential District, which will include housing for up to five million people.
3. The Industrial District, which will include industrial parks and factories.
4. The Recreational District, which will include parks, entertainment facilities, and a sports complex.
5. The Educational District, which will include universities, research centers, and high-tech education facilities.
The project is expected to cost up to $45 billion and will be funded by a mix of public and private funds. It is estimated that the city will create up to 1.5 million jobs.
The project is part of the Egyptian government’s plan to diversify its economy and reduce its reliance on the Suez Canal. It is also expected to help alleviate some of the overcrowding and pollution in Cairo.
The new capital is expected to become a major regional hub for trade, finance, and industry. It is also expected to attract foreign investors, which will help boost the Egyptian economy.
