Al Maqsad New Capital Egypt is a new capital city being developed in the east of Cairo, Egypt. The new city is being designed and constructed by the China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) and is part of the Egyptian government's plan to build a new administrative capital city to reduce congestion in Cairo.

The new city is planned to cover an area of over 700 square kilometers and will contain government buildings, business and residential areas, and recreational facilities. It is expected to be home to up to 6.5 million people and will be served by a new international airport. The city will also feature a number of green spaces and parks, and will incorporate renewable energy sources. Construction is expected to be complete by 2022.
