The Arabia Group, a leading Egyptian investment firm, has announced its acquisition of a majority stake in Sun Capital, a mixed-use development project located in 6 October City, Egypt.
Sun Capital is a sprawling 557-acre project that includes residential, commercial, and entertainment facilities. The development is strategically located in the heart of 6 October City, a fast-growing suburb of Cairo that is home to many of the city's affluent residents.
The project is being developed by Arabia Group's subsidiary, Arabia Real Estate Development (ARED), which has a proven track record of delivering high-quality real estate projects in Egypt. Sun Capital is expected to be one of the largest and most ambitious projects undertaken by ARED to date.
The acquisition of Sun Capital is part of Arabia Group's broader strategy to expand its real estate portfolio in Egypt and the wider region. The group has identified real estate as a key growth area and is actively seeking out new investment opportunities in the sector.
